|Experts probably say that during this quarantine it’s hella important to dress up and pretend you’re going to prom. Tag your quarantine prom date or someone that you wish was your date. 📷: @jmdmcreative||2020/04/22 03:37:06||200,708||2,849|
|Today’s tally... Workouts: 0. Movies: 1. Bacon: 3. Coffee: 2. Quarantine beard selfie number: who knows. This life is getting weird. Time to take my 12:45pm shower I guess.||2020/04/12 04:43:23||190,521||1,359|
|You ever hop out the shower, catch yourself in the mirror and think to yourself “I’m literally glistening right now”? Or perhaps “I smell like a crisp untouched 100 dollar bill from 2016”. Today, we’re off the negative self talk. All positive affirmations. We drinking water, we eating apples. Might even fuck around a burn a candle. Today, we glisten.||2020/05/20 02:52:37||134,693||989|
|All these years, I always knew that you’d be the best mother. I had no idea that you would absolutely exceed all expectations once that time came 5 years ago. I love who you are. I love your boundless creativity and limitless imagination with our children. I admire your selflessness and ability to constantly show up for others. You have passed down humor, compassion, grit, empathy and the spirit of wonder. To say our kids adore you would be a massive understatement. You are their world, as you are mine. We’re all so fortunate to have you in our lives. To learn from you. To soak up your heart. To become better ourselves just by knowing you. Happy Mothers Day @baba_g. I love raising these girls with you.||2020/05/11 04:26:14||130,740||429|

|This was suppose to be a photoshoot for GQ but it didn’t pan out because of the quarantine and the fact that GQ never “technically” reached out. Sometimes you just have to shoot your own magazine covers 🤷🏼♂️. Photo: @jmdmcreative||2020/04/23 05:10:27||112,215||733|

|🚨INSTAGRAM GLAM/CLOUT HACK🚨Step 1: Take a selfie when you wake up. Make sure you get that good angle with the strong jawline and slightly accentuated bottom lip for volume. Step 2: Get one of those photo apps that you can insert a fake sky background. Throw that digital sunset behind you and turn your bathroom wall into a #blessed skyline that proves to all your followers that your city is better than theirs AND you appreciate nature. Step 3: Pick a filter that is going to give you the best tan/glow while taking 3-7 years of life off your actual face. Step 4: Tag a famous photographer. Pretending and clout seeking go hand in hand. Pretend you have a friendship or better yet a working relationship with said photographer. If they call you out publicly, great! The internet loves the drams. Stir some shit up! And lastly, make SURE to always hashtag! #blessed #quarantine #instagood #charlamagne #model #catsofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #bestoftheday 📷 : @david_lachapelle . You’re welcome. |At its core, Seattle is a city where the arts are embedded in our very fabric, in our DNA. Art and music and creative expression are essential - they will help us through this unprecedented time and they will be there as we rebuild and recover. And the creative community needs our support right now. If you can, please help us reach the goal of raising $1 million to support local Seattle artists.
From @206langston: In March LANGSTON partnered with @ijeomaoluo, @gabrielteodros and @usikuatieno on the Seattle Artists Relief Fund. We recently sat down with Ijeoma, several artists who have benefitted so far from the fund, and Macklemore (who, in addition to being a major early supporter of the Fund, got his start in our local hip-hop scene right here in our building). This video came out of those conversations. It shows the impact we've made--which is simultaneously incredible and not nearly enough--and makes the case for why more folks (individuals, foundations, philanthropy) should get on board.
The Seattle Artists Relief Fund was the first and has become the largest local artist-focused relief effort to date. We've made a commitment to try to get whatever we could out to as many local artists we can, and to center that effort on BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled and other underrepresented artists. We are more than halfway to our goal of raising $1 million dollars to support the first 2,000 local artists who applied to the Fund. We need your help to close that gap.
Our creative community has been hit especially hard. They've asked for our help and as a community we're responding. Join us if you can. (And share this widely!) Every dollar raised goes directly to support the folks who make this region worth living in and define the soul of this city.
Thanks to the artists featured and to @indiegeniusmedia and @jmdmcreative for producing the video
